Philippine T.V. Ratings (Feb 8-11)

The Kapuso Network dominates once more the top 5 positions in the t.v. ratings chart. And Robin Padilla’s Joaquin Bordado debuted at the third position following Marimar and Kamandag. Having garnered an impressive 36.6 percent rating at it’s pilot telecast, there’s no denying it, Joaquin Bordado is up for the good fight.

Below is the complete list of shows for both daytime and primetime that made it on the t op 10. Result covers the overnight ratings from February 8-11 as conducted by AGB Nielsen Philippines among Mega Manila households:

Fergie and Josh Engaged

Black-Eyed Peas female member Fergie Ferguson is now engaged to Transformers star Josh Duhamel. No definite plans yet as to what kind of wedding the couple would want. But this news certainly made Fergie the happiest woman in the world.

Other celebrity to wed in the near future are Joel Madden & Nicole Richie, Cash Warren & Jessica Alba and Ross McCall & Jennifer Love Hewitt.

(My Take) The Two Types of Love Partners

Often times we find ourselves in a relationship wondering if our better half is someone worth living the rest of our lives with. And we ask ourselves the same question that popped into mind during our first date: “Are we compatible?” This question should be asked at the very beginning even before committing ourselves into a long-term relationship. So how do we define what’s compatible for us? Well let me give some input about the types of love partners you might meet along the way. Heuristically speaking, there are two types of love partners. These are: The exact opposite, and the clone. Let’s discuss each in turn.

The Exact Opposite
Exact opposites basically tend to compliment you a lot of ways. You can explore new things with them; things that you never thought would be fun when you first tried it. You can also share new experiences with each other, learn new things about the world around you, how the other person looks at life, and how to deal with things that you still don’t understand.

Donald Geisler and Gaby dela Merced: What’s the real score?

I like both Donald and Gabby. Donald, well because he has always been the good brother.  And Gaby because aside from being a car racer, she rocks capoeira. Haha. Anyway, ever since their short stint inside the Big Brother, Donald and Gaby were being linked romantically.

In an interview, Donald Geisler admitted that Gaby is important, whilst Gaby when asked about Donald, she said Donald is a sweetheart. But none of them talked about of the real thing going between them.

But seriously for me, I don’t think they click as a couple. I dunno. I just don’t see the chemistry. I like them both still though.

Regine Velasquez is still a Kapuso

Lately, local showbizlandia has been bugging by the news of the Asia’s Songbird silently moving from the Kapuso Network to ABS-CBN. News of the alleged transfer spread out since she was seen guesting to several Kapamilya shows. But as written by PEP today, Regine is not leaving GMA Network and her loyalty remains with them. And PEP said, that boyfriend, Ogie Alcasid is one of the reason why she’s sticking on the said network. Well good for her, at least she knows that one thing she value the most. *heh*

Boy likes Miss Hot Girl. Miss Hot Girl has Miss Ugly for a best friend. For Boy to score a date with Miss Hot Girl, he needs to befriend Miss Ugly. And that’s basically what Paris Hilton new movie is all about. Anyway, I think this movie is out today and of course I’m not watching it. Lol. Good luck to Paris Hilton, I hope her movie’s ticket sales would be as hot as she claim she is. *heh*

I’ve read somewhere that this is also a lucky year for President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo. Does this mean that again, no destabilization attempt or impeachment petition can ever threaten her presidency?

Well if all these fung shui and positive energy stuffs are true, President Arroyo is indeed impenetrable.

I’ve seen a few episodes of Kung Fu Kids awhile ago and so far I’m liking it. =) Unlike Princess Sarah (the last kiddie show ABS-CBN had), I, for the lack or word, loathe it very much and sad to say it didn’t do much justice to the animated Princess Sarah I loved on my younger years.

Jumper Movie Trailer

It’s about a young man named David Rice who has the ability to teleport himself from one place to another. Later on, David discovered that his gift has been existing for centuries and that his kind were usually referred to as Jumpers. And Jumpers are the sworn enemies of the Paladins who think that Jumpers are too powerful to exist. So they made it a mission to kill every single Jumper there is.
