Angel Locsin to join Kapamilya Network
It was confirmed. Angel Locsin is really moving out of GMA 7 to join the Kapamilya Network.
In an exclusive interview for The Buzz , Angel’s reps acknowledged that there has been a “talk” going on between them and ABS-CBN. Angel’s manager, Becky Aguila, admitted that chances of Angel becoming a Kapamilya, is of higher possibility (80%). Becky Aguila’s statement was seconded by the Actress’ Father.
While it is true that Angel is choosing ABS-CBN over her Mother Network, her reps appealed to the people who call the actress a forthright “Ingrata” that she should not be branded as such. Because as far as professionalism is concern, Angel did everything GMA 7 wanted her to do and that Angel’s 5 years of stay on GMA 7 had been beneficial not only for them, but for the said Network as well.
So I guess, that concludes all the speculations that have been bugging local showbizlandia for the past weeks regarding the true deal between Angel Locsin and her (former) Mother Network GMA 7.
I just hope, career wise, Angel is making the right decision. I mean in the Kapuso Network she’s the Superstar whilst in the Kapamilya Network, well, there is still so much to prove since ABS-CBN has a long strain of bankable stars under her wings.
