First time parents, Joel Madden and Nicole Richie welcomed their daughter today at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, Los Angeles, CA.
Nicole Richie had reportedly given birth to a healthy baby girl that weighed in at six pounds, seven ounces.

2008 is the definitely the year for the new breed of Hollywood babies. Just a few days ago, Oscar-Winner and Australian actress, Nicole Kidman announced that she is pregnant and now there are rumors that even Pamela Anderson had joined the bandwagon. Oh well, so who are this year’s mommies-to-be?
And probably some more to come. The new year is just getting started =)

Ruben Gonzaga was hailed Big Winner of PBB Celebrity Edition 2. Finally a male big winner eh? I still prefer Riza though. Anyway the Desirable Diva bagged the Second Big Placer award. While Gaby and Will were announced the Third and Fourth Big Placer, respectively.
This definitely a dream come true for the Komedyanteng Promdi. He now owns a new condominium and a business franchise worth P2,000,000 . And he’s also a P2,000,000 richer by now. Wow, that’s indeed a blessing, what a great way to begin the year of the rat.
Oh well, Congratulations to Ruben! Just don’t forget to count your blessings and spend your winnings well. *heh*

I want Riza Santos to win. Though a lot of people prefer Ruben because “he needs the prize more than any of the big four”, I still believe Riza is the deserving contender to be hailed this season’s big winner. I just think she is the most sincere and real housemate among her batch.
As for Mariel Rodriguez being threatened to be booed by Riza’s fans, I think she deserves it somehow. She curses a lot and she’s on television for heaven’s sake! She could’ve been more sensitive. Cursing on national television is already “not cool”. What more is having the whole world hear you curse someone? Mariel had been mean. Badmouthing Riza who haven’t done anything wrong? Well, we can’t blame Riza’s supporters if they cry foul.
I guess, Boy Abunda made a big mistake from allowing his talent, Mariel Rodriguez, from entering the Big Brother house. The whole thing just gained Mariel a lot of haters and that I think, is a serious blow in her career.
Well Jennylyn may be 6 weeks pregnant now but no wedding bells for her yet. Contrary to what was reported earlier, Jennylyn and Patrick went to Makati City Hall to seek counseling and not to get married. Though it’s true that boyfriend Patrick Garcia offered her marriage but looks like the couple doesn’t want to rush on things.
Also, due to Jennylyn’s condition, the couple were pulled out from GMA 7’s upcoming show “Maging Akin Ka Lamang”.

The couple didn’t deny the rumor, in fact, when asked by a staff of a local showbiz talk show, Patrick confirmed that girlfriend, Jennelyn is indeed pregnant. Do you find the Chipmunks cute? I do. I love the three of them! But of course, just like everyone else, I have my own favorite and it’s Simon who won my heart. Probably because I myself, is a geek too. Yea even when I was still a child, I already know that I’m the nerdy type.
Looking back, I remember dragging my father to the nearest video rental shop just to get as many beta tapes of the Alvin and the Chipmunks as possible. Sunday has always been a cartoon day for us and it won’t be complete without Alvin, Theodore and Simon. Well who can blame us for being so enticed to them? I mean they’re such an adorable creature! And their high-pitched voice is just compelling enough to get you addicted to them. Too bad, kids of today never really had the chance to know them.
