First time I saw Foo Fighter‘s video for their song Long Road to Ruin, I was like;

Are these guys really the Foo Fighters?
What happened to the angsty Foo Fighters in the video Pretenders?

Lol. Anyhow, I enjoyed their latest video. It’s like I’m watching Mister Don Romantiko (Vhong Navarro). Really had a good laugh.

Jaoquin Bordado

Philippines’ original bad boy, Robin Padilla, returns on primetime television with GMA 7’s upcoming action-fantasy series Joaquin Bordado.

Based on Carlo J. Caparas’ graphic novel, Robin plays the role of Joaquin Bordado a man that possesses mystical powers as his tatoos, that resembles a rat, a snake, a kris, an amazon, a wild cat, a dragon, an eagle and a fiend, comes to life.

Heath Ledger’s death might be accidental

Heath Ledger’s unanticipated death certainly astonished almost everyone. And as to what really caused the tragic death of the Australian-born actor is yet to be found.

Six kinds of prescription drugs were recovered from the actor’s apartment and none of which were illegal. The police said, his death might have been due to an accidental drug overdose. An autopsy has already been performed on the actor’s body but no official statement has been released yet. The medical examiners found the initial result rather inconclusive. They would like to take further toxicology and tissue tests on Heath Ledger’s body and it will take about 10 days to get the result.

Heath Ledger dies at age 28

Twenty-eight years old, Australian-born actor Heath Ledger was found dead Tuesday afternoon from his Manhattan loft. A NYPD spokeperson said, the actor had a schedule for a massage and when the housekeeper is about to inform him the masseuse had arrived, the housekeeper found him dead.

Reportedly, Ledger’s caused of death was due to a drug overdose.

ABS-CBN’s Palos

Palos is ABS-CBN’s upcoming action-adventure series under the direction of Toto Natividad. Palos tells the story of a Father and Son, Fabio and Giancarlo who are torn between the Mother’s death. Giancarlo, thinking that it was his Father who killed his mother, had strive to become a top-notch agent in order to haunt Fabio and avenge his mother’s death.

Cesar Montano plays the role of Fabio while Jake Cuenca takes the role of the revengeful son, Giancarlo. Other casts of Palos includes, Roxanne Guinoo, Jodi Sta. Maria-Lacson, Carla Humphries, Wendy Valdez, Valerie Garcia, child star Julia Barretto, and Be Bench winner Regine Angeles. Palos premieres on January 28, 2008.

Meet the Spartans

Meet the Spartans is a movie parody of different silver screen blockbuster hits such as 300, Shrek the Third, Spider-Man 3 and Ghost Rider. The said movie also featured (and mocked! ^___^) several controversial personalities of 2007 including Britney Spears, Paris Hilton and Donald Trump.

Winners of Amazing Race 12

Dating couple Rachel and TK won the twelfth season of the Amazing Race while the Father/Daughter tandem of Ronald and Christina and the Grandson/Grandfather team of Nicolas and Donald came in second and third, respectively.

It was a tight race between the dating couple and the father/daughter team. Ronald and Christina had a good start. They were always the first team to get the first clue. And had it not been Rachel got the last road block first, Ronald and Christina would have been the winners of the famous race around the world.

Google PageRank Update

So there has been a Google PageRank Update last week and mine haven’t changed. I still got a zero PageRank for this blog. Lol. This could only mean 2 things; First, I’m a lousy webmaster. And second, I am a no-good writer. Well, what can I do? I mean writing is not my cup of tea.  And most of the time, I really find it difficult to organize my thoughts and express whatever ideas I have into writing. *heh* I guess,  this  should motivate me to work on my writing skill.

Anyway, I’m working on a new wordpress theme for this blog. I’m done with the design and halfway through the coding. Hopefully, I’ll procrastinate less so I can get it all up by the end of this month. Lol. *me crossing fingers*

Matthew McConaughey’s gonna be a Daddy!

Matthew McConaughey got some blessed news – that he and girlfriend, Brazilian model Camila Alves “made a baby“. And seriously, does he really have to put it that way? Lol. I don’t know if it’s just me. But that just sounded awkwardly funny. I mean, how would you react, let’s say when your friend tells you, “Hey pal, you know what, me and my girlfriend made a baby together!“?

Oh well, another Hollywood baby that is yet to be born, huh?

Xtina’s baby is born

Just a day after Nicole Richie had given birth to her daughter, five-time Grammy winner, Christina Aguilera, had delivered a healthy baby boy via C-Section at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, Los Angeles, CA. She and husband Jordan Bratman named their baby boy Max Liron Bratman.

Looks like Cedars-Sinai Medical Center will be pretty much busy this year as more Hollywood babies are yet to be born.
