Hero Angeles returns on primetime television as it was confirmed by his new manager, German Moreno, that the former ABS-CBN talent joins the cast of GMA Network’s upcoming remake of Mars Revelo’s Dyesebel.

Philippines first female President Cory Aquino was diagnosed with colon cancer and this was announced by daughter Kris Aquino in an interview for TV Patrol World. According to Kris, it was their mom’s decision to let the public know her mom’s present condition to appeal for the people’s prayers.
When I was a kid, I really taught Ex-President Cory Aquino was my Tita because I often here my relatives refer to her as Tita Cory. Lol. Yeah I know. Silly me. But hey, kids are supposed to be silly right? Haha. Excuses. Anyway, the news of her sickness somehow saddens me (Though we’re really not related to her in anyway) Let’s all pray for her and her family that the Lord will give them the strength to help them battle this ordeal.
Yet another Asian movie remake. I’ve seen the Asian version of this film and it was creepy. Anyway, Shutter tells the story of a ghost that manifests its presence through photographs. Starring Joshua Jackson and Rachael Taylor, Shutter out on US theaters today.

Carrie, Samantha, Charlotte and Miranda of the hit HBO series returns in the big screen. In the movie adaptation of the series, tells the life of the main characters four years after the series ended.
Starring Sarah Jessica Parker, Kim Cattrall, Kristin Davis, and Cynthia Nixon, Sex and the City is set to be released in the United States on May 30, 2008.

Boys and Girls of Gossip Girl will be back on April starting on the 21st with five new episodes already on queue. I really can’t wait! Oh and did you know that Mischa Barton was approached by the producers of Gossip Girl to play the role of Georgina Sparks, a scheming character who will make Serena’s life miserable. But as of this time, Mischa Barton’s reps told US Weekly that she turned down the role. And now fans of Gossip Girl are requesting Rachel Bilson to fill in the said role or be a part of the said series’ casts at least.
Well, I personally prefer someone unknown to play the role of Georgina Sparks but I think Rachel Bilson will do just fine. =)
Ratings were out and GMA Networks is standing firmly on the first half of the chart while their rival network, ABS-CBN continues to dominate the second half of the ratings chart.
On daytime shows, Eat Bulaga and Daisy Siete continues to battle over the number 1 position. Daisy Siete took the top spot on Tuesday and Wednesday and back on second on Thursday as Eat Bulaga regained their lead. While on the primetime shows, Marimar once again took the lead followed by Kamandag and Joaquin Bordado.
T.V. Patrol who was consistent on the sixth spot was so far the top-rater show for ABS-CBN. And while live-anime kiddie show Kung Fu Kids settled on the 7th spot, Angel Locsin’s Lobo played around the 6-8 position of the ratings chart.
