Dayana Mendoza won the most coveted crown in the Miss Universe 2008 pageant which was held on July 13, 2008 at Nha Trang, Khanh Hoa, Vietnam.

Dayana Mendoza is the 5th Venezuelan representative to win the said title. The 22-year-old newly crowned Miss Universe 2008 works as a fashion model and has traveled to Italy, France, United States, England, Greece, Spain, Germany, Mexico and Peru for Versace, and Roberto Cavalli among other fashion designers. She’s also a trilingual who speaks Spanish, Italian and English.

Pinoy Idol closed its stage to 16-year-old Idol hopeful from Iloilo, Sue Ellen as she was the 4th person to be eliminated from the said reality show.

On her last performance, Sue Ellen sang her version of Dadalhin Kita Sa Aking Palasyo, a song popularized by the Asia’s Songbird, Regine Velasquez.

I’m really loving Boyce Avenue’s version of Jordin Sparks’ No Air. Alejandro Manzano’s voice is just amazing. Lol.

I don’t know if this news is true as there’s no confirmation yet coming from Lorna Tolentino. But on past interviews, LT’s manager, Lolit Solis confirmed that she has an offer to do a soap opera for the Kapamilya Network and that they’re considering it. So I guess, they did accept the offer and we just have to wait for their official statement.

Lorna’s last soap opera with the Kapamilya Network was Kay Tagal Kang Hinintay where she played the role of Red Butterfly.

Well I think, this time it’s for real. =)

Hollywood’s A-list couple, Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie, welcomed the newest members of their family; Knox Leon and Vivienne Marcheline.

The twins were delivered through a Cesarean section on Saturday night in a hospital from Southern, France. Reportedly, the couple scheduled the delivery of their twins on a later date but it was moved sooner for medical reasons.

Knox Leon and Vivienne Marcheline is the 5th and 6th member of the Jolie and Pitt’s growing brood, consisting of Maddox, Pax, Sahara and Shiloh.

Senator Bong Revilla Jr. and actress Lani Mercado’s 18-year old daughter Inah Revilla to marry non-showbiz boyfriend, Vince del Rosario on May 28 at the Manila Cathedral.

Rumor has it that Senator Revilla’s daughter sudden decision to tie the knot is because she is pregnant. But the Revilla’s deny the issue.

Inah Revilla is first year Legal Management student from Ateneo while boyfriend Vince del Rosario is said to be a businessman coming from a well-off family.
