Starring Zanjoe Marudo, Cristine Reyes, Rafael Rosel and Denise Laurel, The first ever TV adaptation of the Kristine Series will feature the love stories of Bernard De Silva and Jewel Fortalejo and Marco De Silva and Emerald Fortalejo. The pilot episode is set to premiere on August 16.

The TV adaptation of the Kristine Series begins with the story of sisters Jewel and Emerald Fortalejo and brothers Bernard and Marco de Silva. Jewel falls in love with Bernard and Emerald with Marco. But in the land of Paso de Blas, the Fortalejo’s and the De Silva’s are two feuding families. So what happens when a Fortalejo falls for a De Silva? Can their love for each other stand against the rivalry that threatened their families for years?

I always thought that Tagalog Pocketbooks were cheesy and “baduy” and I often told myself that no one will ever see me reading one. Until that one day my Mom brought home a copy of Martha Cecilia’s Villa Kristine (book 8 of the Kristine Series). I’ve decided to read it just to witness the “chessiness” firsthand. But instead I found myself hooked and wanted to read more because I found myself enthralled with Paso de Blas. Then I fell in love with the Villa Kristine, the Fortalejo’s, the De Silva’s and the Navarro’s too much that I just found myself heading to a nearby Precious Pages Outlet rummaging the shelves for the whole Kristine Series. So yeah, screw the cheesiness! Villa Kristine will always have a special place in my heart and I couldn’t thanked Martha Cecilia enough (who btw is my favorite PHR novel writer of all time!) for sharing the wonderful world of Paso de Blas.

Redford White, Cipriano Cermeno in real life, is survived by his wife, Elena Cermeno, and daughter Jeruie.

The comedian first experience dizziness, imbalance and walking difficulty on July 2008. He thought it was just vertigo. But on February this year he was diagnosed of stage 4 brain cancer.

He was last seen on television as cast member on ABS-CBN’s Kokey(2007) and Palos(2008).

So happy to hear that the breakup wasn’t true. Now I hope people will give the issue a break and let the couple sort out whatever differences they have and fix whatever they need to fix as far as their relationship is concern, without the public getting involved and prying too much on their personal struggles.

So what do people say about the couple’s ‘alleged’ breakup?

Well, some says it’s a third-party on Vic Sotto’s side and people had their fingers pointing to Brazilian model/actress Daiana Meneses being the other woman. Daiana already denied her involvement in the breakup though. She insisted that her relationship with Vic Sotto is mainly on screen and nothing beyond that. Daiana Meneses is Vic Sotto’s leading lady on TV5′s fantasy-sitcom ‘Ang Darling kong Aswang.

And as for others, they say it’s Pia Guanio’s fault. Allegedly, Pia Guanio met some guy to whom she had spent the days she was on vacation from Eat Bulaga. And aside from this third-party thing being linked to Pia, there’s also a rumor that Pia refused Vic Sotto’s marriage proposal because she’s not yet ready and that refusal result in the couple’s breakup.

But then again, these are all just speculations. These rumors may or may not be real. And it is still better to hope that these news aren’t true.

I love this commercial! It’s bittersweet though because there’s some truth to it. I mean they did break up right? And so maybe in real life, Luis really do miss Angel even after all this time.
