A Plight of Truth?

I was having my usual IM conversation with Anthony when he told me that he won’t be able to come home to Pampanga because of some commotion that’s happening in Makati. And well, what do you know, it is yet another coup d’état attempt and yes Senator Trillanes did it again but this time together with his minions they took over Manila Peninsula.

I mean, c’mon what is he thinking? Haven’t he learned the first time? Then after this, what will happened? Another court-martial trial? Doesn’t he realize that this whole brouhaha, demonstration or whatever you call it will only relieve him from all his obligations as a Senator.

Sigh…

Okay, given that the Arroyo Administration was a fraud and that GMA did manipulate the result of the 2004 Elections (Which I personally believe she did. Yea, Senator Trillanes, I do agree with you at some point), you think instigating chaos would solve the problem? I don’t think so. Violence begets more violence. And in the end it is the majority who suffers.

Sigh…

Sure, Senator Trillanes is just living by his principles it’s just that he chose the wrong way of doing it. I know he only wanted the common good for all Filipinos but I just hope that instead of threatening GMA’s presidency it’s about time he thinks about those people who voted for him to be where he is now. He did not become a Senator to just run after GMA’s administration, I believe he was elected because many Filipinos saw in him the hope of a better life once promised by President Gloria Macapagal.
